Hotel Cal-Amity is a fictional abandoned hotel, imagined as though it were discovered today after sitting untouched for more than a century.
Box 001 explores three spaces left behind within the hotel — the Mirador Lounge, Palm Court Boutique and East Greenhouse — capturing the atmosphere of each and translating it into fragrance.
Hotel Cal-Amity
Opened in 1912 along the California coast, Hotel Cal-Amity was a grand Mediterranean Revival resort built for escape — sunlit courtyards, tiled terraces, lush gardens and rooms overlooking the Pacific.
For more than a decade, guests came for long afternoons beneath the palms, evenings in the Mirador Lounge and the particular luxury of having nowhere else to be.
More than a century later, three of its spaces are waiting to be rediscovered.

The Mirador Lounge
Warm and dimly lit, the Mirador Lounge carries the atmosphere of a late October evening — spiced pumpkin, buttered rum and the smoky warmth of a fire burning low.
